Emergency Management and Safety
Emergency management and safety in the School of Science and Technology (SST) is of the utmost importance and the highest priority activity in the School. All faculty, staff and students must endeavor to create a safe environment and, as such, are charged with always acting responsibly and reporting emergency and safety concerns to the associate dean.
Emergency Management
The SST Emergency Management Plan considers man-made and naturally occurring events that require emergency action by personnel in and around Building A and Building H. Example events could range from a violent anti-government protester to severe weather. The GGC chief of Public Safety has approved the appointment of the SST associate dean as the emergency director of Buildings A and H. The chief has approved the Emergency Plans for both Building A and Building H.
