As the technically savvy, self-proclaimed “cable kid” at home, Mikiah Miller’s IT passion thrived at GGC, where she could work, grow and learn independence as a young adult. She earned her BS in IT, hoping to secure an IT job in government and ultimately her doctorate.
At GGC, Nia Mallory found a place to discover herself and create bonds, while earning her BS in health science. She applied her passion to the role of resident assistant, helping others find strength and support in student housing – and occasionally troubleshooting dishwashers with overflowing bubbles.
GGC provided Teodora Jovic a place where she could combine her passions of reading, writing and sports, and become part of a nationally ranked, number one tennis team. She earned her BA in English, fulfilling her purpose as a reporter starting in 2025 at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
