Legal Affairs strives to provide timely legal advice, counsel and guidance to advance and protect the college’s mission and vision, while addressing the wide range of complex and highly-specialized legal issues facing institutions of higher education.

Legal Affairs seeks to anticipate and offer creative solutions to legal problems, works to resolve legal disputes, advocates on behalf of the college, and serves as a liaison between the college and the Attorney General’s office. Legal Affairs endeavors to be a valued and trusted partner, recognized for its integrity, creativity, expertise, openness, availability and service orientation.

Ethics and Compliance Program and Hotline

University System of Georgia's Ethics and Compliance Program enhances compliance with state and federal regulations and minimizes misconduct by USG faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, contractors and members of the Board of Regents.

Those who are employed at public institutions are charged with the duty to behave ethically and professionally. It is our duty to avoid the appearance of impropriety, so that the public will not lose confidence in our stewardship of its resources. Employees should be aware of GGC Ethics Policy.
