Brigitte Hoarau

Biography
Ms. Brigitte Hoarau teaches English composition and creative writing at GGC with an emphasis on process and revision. Students in her composition courses often take part in hands-on experiential learning and engage in their communities. Her creative writing classes focus on short fiction with emphases on narrative distance and point of view.
Hoarau has taught writing at GGC since January 2010, and previously taught creative writing, composition and literature at Georgia State University, University of Iowa and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She has also worked in broadcasting, film and video, journalism and marketing.
