Biography
Dr. Yu is currently a professor of economics and the dean of the School of Business at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC). He has taught at the university level for 20 years, primarily at Mercer University, Ga. Undergraduate courses taught include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, international economics, quantitative analysis and methods, business statistics, multivariate applied business statistics, financial accounting, managerial accounting and cost accounting. At the graduate level he has taught managerial economics, operations management, decision theory and international economics.
Yu has published more than 30 articles in refereed journals. He has also presented papers at academic conferences and published some of them in peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
He has been living in the Alpharetta area since 1990 with his wife, Mei, and their two sons. In his spare time, Yu loves to read, travel and spend time outside in the mountains or at the beach.
