Drs. Hyesung Park, assistant professor if information technology (IT); Sonal Dekhane, professor of IT; and Yan Zong Ding, Tacksoo Im, Wei Jin, and Cynthia Johnson, all associate professors of IT, won a $30,000 grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for Java programming courses. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. Their project will save GGC students about $87,000.
