GGC's Dr. Catherine Thomas wins grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for the GGC first-year seminar course

Dr. Catherine Thomas, professor of English and associate dean for Student Success Programs, won a $6,059 grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for the GGC first-year seminar course. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students more than $6,000 per academic year.
