GGC's Janice Alves wins grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for a quantitative reasoning course

Janice Alves, instructor of mathematics, won a $30,000 grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for a quantitative reasoning course. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students more than $61,000 per academic year.
