Dr. Samantha Mrstik, associate professor of curriculum and instruction, Dr. Rebecca Cooper, professor of curriculum and instruction, and Dr. Amy Farah, associate professor of teacher education, recently won the D2L Excellence Award. The honor recognized the team's work in developing the Technology Integration Project, which was designed to prepare the School of Education's (SOE) majors to teach in a virtual environment. It includes emphasis on understanding relationships between technology and teaching. As a result, SOE's preservice teachers became more prepared to teach in various online formats and serve as technology leaders in their schools. Read the press release.
