Biography
Dr. Anil Pereira is an associate professor of information technology at Georgia Gwinnett College. He received his Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from Wright State University. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and has taught a variety of courses in computer science and information technology. At GGC, he has taught undergraduate courses in computer programming, databases and communication networks.
His research in the areas of high performance computing, distributed systems and multimedia has been published in the Journal of Supercomputing, Journal of Grid Computing, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, IEEE Multimedia, Lecture Notes in Computer Science, workshop proceedings of the IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing, conference proceedings of the International Symposium on Information Technology: Coding and Computing, and proceedings of the Linux Cluster Institute's International Conference on High Performance Clustered Computing.
