Biography
Prof. Brigitte Hoarau teaches English composition and creative writing at GGC with an emphasis on process and revision. Her creative writing classes focus on character, story, narrative distance, and point of view.
Hoarau has taught writing at GGC since January 2010, and previously taught creative writing, composition, and literature at Georgia State University, University of Iowa, and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She has also worked in broadcasting, film and video, journalism, and marketing. She writes character-based literary fiction, creative nonfiction, and scripts. Her stories have been published in Southern Indiana Review, Fiction Southeast, and elsewhere.
