Daniel Butler
Biography
Daniel Butler is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Georgia who began teaching at GGC in the Spring of 2012. He is currently writing his doctoral dissertation, "Paranoid Century," which discusses paranoid narratives in the works of British and American authors of the twentieth century, and, in particular, spy plots in the fiction of Joseph Conrad, Thomas Pynchon, and Don DeLillo. His research interests include modernism and the 20th century avant-garde, genre fiction, and cinema.
He and his wife have twin toddlers who are growing up too quickly.
