Biography

Dr. Javazon received her Ph.D. in human and molecular genetics with a focus on adult stem cell research at Tulane University. She did her post-doctoral fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She moved to Atlanta, Ga., where she continued stem cell research at Emory University. Javazon began her teaching career at Morehouse College in 2009. She came to GGC in 2014 and currently teaches biology for majors and non-science majors.
