Biography
In January 2019, Ms. Hendrickson joined the Office of Advancement team at Georgia Gwinnett College. Hendrickson oversees the corporate and foundation relations as they pertain to fundraising, partnerships and collaborative community initiatives.
Prior to Georgia Gwinnett College, Hendrickson served as the interim executive director of Institutional Advancement and director of Institutional Advancement for over six years at Gwinnett Technical College. She managed the Gwinnett Tech Foundation to include all fundraising activities in support of academic initiatives, capital campaigns and annual and endowed scholarships. Prior to coming to Gwinnett Tech, Hendrickson managed the alumni program at the University of North Georgia, Gainesville campus.
Hendrickson got her start in fundraising as the special events coordinator for The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, and gained experience in management as the program manager for the University of West Georgia Department of Music. In addition, Hendrickson was the executive director of the Rotarian Action Group for Population Growth and Sustainable Development leading all efforts for membership, grants management and events for the international non-profit organization.
She is past president of the Rotary Club of Gwinnett County, and a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, Glance Gwinnett and Gwinnett 101: Citizen’s Academy. Hendrickson proudly serves on the board of the J.M. Tull Gwinnett YMCA.
