Biography
Dr. Joe Gershtenson teaches a range of courses in American politics, public opinion, political behavior, research methods and public administration. He believes all students can be successful and strives to support them in their efforts. He has taught at East Carolina University, Eastern Kentucky University, St. Mary’s University of Texas and the University of North Georgia. He attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC as an undergraduate, completed a Master’s program at the University of California, San Diego, and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas. When not teaching, Gershtenson enjoys being outdoors – running, biking, working around the house – and spending time with his family.
