Biography
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Kristene McClure relocated to Lawrenceville in 2014 after more than 12 years in the Los Angeles Community College District. Her English courses regularly emphasize linguistic diversity, linguistic and cultural justice, and student-directed focal topics. Her research agenda in both applied linguistics and teaching composition underscores the value of collaboration, including collaborating, writing and presenting academic work with co-authors who are GGC English majors.
