Biography
Dr. Umar Khokhar joined GGC in August 2017 as a lecturer of information technology, was promoted in September 2019 to assistant professor of information technology and again in August 2024 to associate professor of information technology. Before joining GGC, he worked as an instructor of cyber security at Gwinnett Tech for one year and an assistant professor in Bahria University for three years. Khokhar received his Ph.D in information security with emphasis of ultra-lightweight cryptography in 2016. He received a gold medal for his outstanding performance in his master's and was awarded with magna cum laude honor.
