Biography
Dr. Victor Lawson has been teaching ITEC courses since August 2008. He completed his doctorate in computer science at the University of Georgia in August 2016. Prior to teaching, he worked 22 years as an industry ITEC professional. His variety of jobs included programmer, analyst, systems administrator, technical director and consultant. He has implemented IT systems for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. His education includes a bachelor of science in computer science, a master of science in management of technology, a master of IT and a Ph.D. in computer science. His research is in distributed systems, sensor networks and the internet of things.
