The Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) Public Safety team appreciates the outpouring of support following the death of K9 Officer Buddy. As the campus community honors his dedicated service to GGC, students, faculty and staff are invited to join in recognizing Buddy's faithful service to our community.

Final arrangements

• Date: Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025
• Time: 9:15 a.m. – Procession departs from Lot 3000.
• Route: The procession (PDF) will proceed along Lonnie Harvel Blvd. and continue to the Pet Angel Memorial Center.
• Memorial Service: 10 a.m. at Pet Angel Memorial Center, 2691 Harbins Rd., Bethlehem, GA 30620

Public participation

Those unable to attend the service are invited to pay their respects by observing the procession from the sidewalks along Lonnie Harvel Blvd.

Buddy served our community with unwavering dedication for ten years, and this service is an opportunity for us to honor his loyalty, courage, and contributions. Please continue to keep his patrol partner, Sgt. Chris Wragg, and the entire Public Safety team in your thoughts during this time.
