Evaluate and provide feedback for the MyCourses New Content Experience

The MyCourses (Brightspace by D2L) content experience is undergoing a redesign to improve navigation, usability and overall user experience. Currently, Georgia Gwinnett College’s vendor, D2L, is focusing development efforts on the New Content Experience (NCE) and not on the “classic” Content Tool. The New Content Experience is receiving regular updates to features and is getting closer to achieving feature parity with the “classic” Content Tool with each monthly release.

Information Technology (IT) is seeking faculty and student input on the New Content Experience over the next few semesters to help IT determine when it would be appropriate to enable NCE for all courses. 

Beginning, April 23, faculty may choose to enable the New Content Experience in their summer 2025, fall 2025, spring 2026, and/or building/sandbox courses. Faculty that choose to enable NCE in their courses will be asked to complete a survey and encourage their students to complete a survey on their experience with NCE. IT will use survey results and stakeholder feedback to develop an appropriate transition plan.
