Vision
The Daniel J. Kaufman Library & Learning Center will be a premier 21st century liberal arts college library. It will serve as a leader in the development and provision of resources and services and will incorporate the traditional and the contemporary in innovative ways to become a dynamic partner in the learning experience at the college, while advancing the institutional mission, values and vision.
Mission
The mission of the Daniel J. Kaufman Library & Learning Center is to support the institutional goals of Georgia Gwinnett College, a four-year unit of the University System of Georgia, by serving as a center of education, research and scholarship for the college’s students, faculty and staff. The library also serves as a resource for the Gwinnett county community.
Facts about the Library
- Study rooms are available on all three floors of the library.
- The Quiet Reading Room, Heritage Lecture Room and the Center for Teaching Excellence are housed in the library.
- The library has a gold-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
