Margarita Pate, PharmD., BSPS, '15, biology, recently received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s College of Pharmacy in Memphis. While at GGC, she worked with Dr. Christopher Brandon, professor of biological sciences, to establish a research project that continues to present day due to its popularity with students. She has begun her industry pharmacy career as a medical writer with Medtronic, a medical device company.
