Two recent alumni were admitted to the Google Summer of Code summer internship program, which pays a stipend to students for contributing to open-source coding projects. The alumni and projects are Nga Tran, '21, information technology, "Adding more functionality to AnalySim: a data sharing and analysis platform," and Elijah Noisin, '21, psychology, "Re-creating the Leech Heartbeat Network Model Tutorial using the Neuron Simulator in Python and NeuroML." The students were mentored by Drs. Anca Doloc-Mihu and Cengiz Gunay, both assistant professors of information technology.
