Dr. Zengjun Chen, associate professor of physics, was awarded a $21,987 transformation grant to develop low- or no-cost instructional materials for an introductory physics course and its lab. The funding is provided by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents' Affordable Learning Georgia Textbook Transformation Grant program. The project will save GGC students about $78,450. Chen’s colleagues for this grant are Drs. Sherita Moses and Lijun Pang, both assistant professors of physics, and Dr. Qing Shao, associate professor of physics.
