Application and document deadlines may be extended by the vice president of Enrollment Management Services in consultation with others, if conditions warrant. The Admissions office will communicate date changes to prospective students via the GGC website and other communications. 

2. Create Grizzly Profile to Apply Online

Create your Grizzly Profile to apply online, manage your progress and submit the required $30 nonrefundable application fee (Dual Enrollment exempted from application fee). Completing your profile also connects you to your admissions counselor, and offers a personalized application experience, helpful tips and reminders, status updates, and invitations to exclusive events. 3. Review Admission Requirements

Manage submissions and approvals by monitoring email and your online Grizzly Profile account.

    Aged 62 or Older Admission

    Admission Requirements

    • Be a resident of Georgia
    • Be 62 years of age or older at the time of registration.
      • Visit the One Stop Shop located in the Grizzly Welcome Center in Building D to complete the Georgia Gwinnett College Waiver of Mandatory Fees form and submit a valid Georgia driver’s license, birth certificate or other comparable written documentation of age to determine eligibility.
    • Meet all University of System of Georgia (USG) and Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) admission requirements, including application fees, if any.
      • Apply online, pay the application fee and meet all requirements based on your student classification.
        • See admission requirements for your student classification type (freshman, freshman with transfer credit, transfer or post-baccalaureate).
    • May enroll in classes on a space-available basis without payment of tuition and mandatory fees, except for supplies, laboratory or shop fees.
    • Meet all USG, GGC and legislated degree requirements if a degree-seeking student.

    Additional Information

    • Approval by adviser is required to audit a course.
    • Proper paperwork obtained from Registration Services (Registrar) must be filed before the end of late registration, drop/add (see academic calendar for specific dates).
    • No credit is granted for courses scheduled on an auditing basis.
    • Students are not permitted to change to or from auditing status except through the regular procedures for schedule changes.
    • Students will not be permitted to have the audit grade changed at any future date.
