As Georgia Gwinnett College approaches the end of 2024, we look back on some of the institution’s milestones and accomplishments throughout the year. Our leadership team, faculty, staff and students collaborated on many programs aligned with our student success initiatives and broadened on-campus engagement as highlighted in the photo gallery below. • GGC reaffirmed its accreditation for next 10 years with a focus on critical thinking and experiential learning
• 2023-2025 Strategic Plan launched
• Georgia Board of Regents presented Regents Momentum Award for Excellence in Advising and Student Success to GGC
• Continual increases in enrollment
• New tagline launched: Find your place, Find your passion, Find your purpose
• New ads launched in malls and bus shelters
• New names for magazine (Georgia Gwinnett College) and faculty/staff newsletter (Inside GGC)
• National Science Foundation gave GGC three grants totaling $700K
• Georgia Banking Company gave GGC $400K for scholarships
• GGC discovered bacteria in Joro spider
• Nursing students passed NCLEX at 100%
• GGC's Fulbright Scholar returned from Uganda
• Student study abroad program in Germany
• 34 faculty promoted
• Outstanding Teacher Awards presented
• GGC Athletics championships won
