Enjoy games, food and fun at Georgia Gwinnett College’s Grizzlyfest
Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is gearing up for its annual Grizzlyfest celebration!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at GGC’s campus, 1000 University Center Lane, Lawrenceville. It will be an unforgettable afternoon filled with activities, food and live entertainment for all ages.
One of the day's must-see highlights is the annual Global Chili Cook-Off, where GGC's deans will compete for bragging rights as they serve up chili recipes inspired by flavors from around the world. Attendees can sample each dish and purchase tokens to vote for their favorite. All proceeds will go to GGC’s Student Emergency Fund.
Along with tantalizing samples of chili, attendees can experience a variety of international street food samples. Lunch will be available for purchase. There will also be interactive crafts, activities and live entertainment, showcasing the talents of GGC’s students, faculty and staff.
Grizzlyfest is free and open to everyone. Parking is available in GGC’s “L” parking lot.
