Representatives from Georgia Gwinnett College's benefits carries will be available to provide information about your benefit options for the institution's upcoming 2025 Open Enrollment 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Oc. 2., in the Student Center, LVIS. The event will include the following: 

• Door prizes
• Costume contest
• Free gifts
• Food tasting
• Complimentary wellness and biometric screening

Anthem member information

On a first come, first served basis, free biometric screenings and flu shots for Anthem employees and spouses only.

Kaiser Permanente (KP) member information

• Get your no-cost, walk-in flu shot now and throughout flu season. No appointment is necessary for flu shots. Weekend walk-in flu shots are available at Duluth (Gwinnett), Jonesboro (Southwood) and Kennesaw (TownPark).
• COVID, flu, and pneumonia vaccines will be available for individuals aged 6 months and older. Whether you’re driving the kids to soccer practice on time, juggling work and school, or taking a fitness class — you’re always two steps ahead. Don’t let the flu slow you down. Getting the flu shot is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones.
• This year, KP medical centers will offer in-medical center flu shot appointments between Sept. 3 and the end of November.
• To see the schedule for each medical center or to make an appointment, visit kp.org/flu. 
• To schedule your flu shot appointment, you can call 1.800.777.7904 or complete an e-visit. You will always be offered a flu shot at any primary or specialty care appointment.
