Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is one month away from celebrating the achievements of nearly 850 graduates in our spring 2025 commencement ceremony. In preparation for celebrating our graduates and their achievements, faculty members are invited to indicate their intent to participate in the ceremonies by signing up online (login required) no later than 5 p.m. Friday, May 2.

Morning ceremony – 10 a.m.

  • School of Education
  • School of Health Sciences
  • School of Liberal Arts

Afternoon Ceremony – 2 p.m.

  • School of Science and Technology
  • School of Business

Commencement Platform Party rehearsal

Friday, May 9, 4-4:30 p.m. GGC  
Convocation Center, Arena Bowl  
Note: Only faculty standard bearers, announcers and the mace bearer are asked to attend the    
rehearsal.

Faculty staging/Parking/Prohibited items

  • Faculty staging location: Allied Health and Sciences building lobby.
  • Faculty and staff participating in both ceremonies are asked to park in the H Lot.
  • To ensure a smooth and safe experience, please check the list of prohibited items and other important information.
  • A “Clear Bag Policy” and other prohibited items apply.

Additional details regarding the ceremonies will come from both the Provosts and Ceremonies and Events offices.
