Student scholarships available for next academic year
In an effort to support student success and retention, faculty and staff may share the scholarship information below with students, on social media and other applicable communication channels.
The general scholarship application for next academic year is now open. Students need to apply each year to be considered for these scholarships, which are awarded by the Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) Scholarship Committee. Students who apply by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, will receive priority consideration.
For students specifically seeking assistance with purchasing books, they may apply for the Lee Boutwell Book Fund via the book assistance form. Through the generosity of Lee and Marshall Boutwell, this fund supports students by providing financial assistance to procure textbooks and reading materials that are required for the classes in which they are enrolled. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated financial need and lack alternative sources of funds for obtaining books. Students must maintain at least part-time enrollment status and a minimum GGC GPA of 2.0.
For any other inquiries about financial assistance, refer students to Financial Aid. Students can visit the GGC Scholarships and Grants webpage to learn more information.
